In 2015, Central Coast Mariners will compete in the AFC Champions League – Asia’s most prestigious Club competition – for an Australian record fifth time.

This time round, the Mariners will have to go through the qualifying phase of the competition, before hopefully embarking on a positive Group Stage campaign.

This Wednesday Central Coast Mariners Team Manager Rik Katte will fly to the home of Asian football, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the 2015 AFC Champions League Conference and Draw.

Keep an eye on the official Central Coast Mariners Twitter Handle & Facebook Page to stay up to date with Katte’s time in KL (#KatteInKL), with unique insights into what goes on behind the scenes in the AFC Champions League.

The Draw for the 2015 AFC Champions League will be held on Thursday 11 December, and we’ll post updates direct from the event. In past years the AFC have live streamed the Draw, so we hope to be able to share that with you, too.

Central Coast Mariners will face one of the following teams in their 2015 AFC Champions League Qualifier:
– Guangzhou R & F (China)
– Bangkok Glass (Thailand)
– Chonburi FC (Thailand)
– Hà Nôi T&T (Vietnam)
– Persib Bandung (Indonesia)
– Kitchee (Hong Kong)
– Yadanarbon (Myanmar)
– Johor Darul Ta’zim (Malaysia)
