Mariners Head Coach Alen Stajcic welcomed the new fixtures and said he is excited for some big games at home.

“First of all, we are excited to have the next block of the season locked in, including some really exciting home fixtures in front of our passionate fans,” he said.

“I know that our fans will be ready for those home matches against other teams in the mix for finals and we can’t wait to be out playing for them with a great atmosphere.”

The Mariners next 10 matches - 16th March

“This is a crucial part of the season and the support of our fans will be so important as we push towards the end of the campaign.”

Adelaide will visit the Mariners on Thursday, April 1st, before Staj and the boys get on the bus to Bankwest Stadium for a big game with Wanderers on Tuesday, April 6th.

After that, the Mariners will make a trip to Launceston to face Western United the following Saturday.

The Mariners travelled to Tasmania for pre-season in 2019, and Staj said he is looking forward to reconnecting with the football community there once more.

“We really enjoyed our time in Tasmania when we travelled there, it’s a passionate football community and we received some great support, so we are looking forward to the trip there,” he said.

It is a busy schedule when the Mariners return from Tasmania, with three games in eight days kicked off by the clash with Sydney and followed up by Brisbane’s visit.

After that the boys take on Melbourne Victory at AAMI Park on Sunday, 2nd May before a 10-day break ahead of a trip to face Brisbane, and then a massive Saturday night #F3Derby beckons on Saturday, 15th May to round out the new block of fixtures.
