The Central Coast Mariners Pre-Season continues this week, with hit-outs against NSW Premier League side Blacktown City Demons, and NSW State League club Northern Tigers.

These matches will be the last two occasions the squad has to impress coaching staff before Head Coach Graham Arnold officially takes charge next week, after completing his responsibilities with the Qantas Socceroos at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

“I-m happy with where the players are at in terms of preparation for the season, and where I wanted them to be for Arnie-s return, and having these two games will give the players two more chances to impress.

“Some guys have done well and others will be working hard to show that they should be in the mix for starting spots come the opening game of the season against Melbourne Heart,” said Moss.

The Mariners are unbeaten so far in Pre-Season after a 7-1 hammering of Central Coast Lightning to retain the Central Coast Challenge Cup, before following that up with a 2-all draw against Bankstown City Lions last Thursday.
