Mariners to celebrate an evening of firsts

A number of firsts will be celebrated when the Central Coast Mariners host Gold Coast United in their first home game of the 2011/12 Hyundai A-League season at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford this Saturday night.

A number of firsts will be celebrated when the Central Coast Mariners take on Gold Coast United in their first home game of the 2011/12 Hyundai A-League season at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford this Saturday night.

Kicking-off at 5:30pm, the excitement of the game will be supplemented with Mariners fan day activities, including kids games and face painting from the moment gates open at 4:30pm.

After the final whistle supporters will be able to liaise with the players via an autograph session, including star player and coach interviews.

New home strip
For the first time, your team will run out in their 2011/12 Hyundai A-League home strip. Designed by hummel Australia, the kit is emblazoned with Soccer5s.com on the front, Primo Smallgoods on the back, and Masterfoods and Wyong Shire Council on the shorts.

The team is determined to christen their new home kit with a stylish win, and being at the game will provide the first opportunity for supporters to purchase the replica kit.

Please note, only a limited supply of replica shirts will be available this weekend. The club is in the process of opening a new online store, and hopes to be able to fulfil all our fans merchandising wishes within the next few weeks.

New Members
Central Coast Mariners will welcome numerous new Members to Bluetongue Stadium this Saturday night. At the time of writing, we are nearing record numbers of Members.

We look forward to entertaining our new, returning and foundation Members at our first home game.

New Players
Mariners Head Coach Graham Arnold has signed some fantastic new players to add depth to the Mariners squad this season, many of whom could make their first appearance for the first team this Saturday night.

Stuart Musialik (injury) is the only new recruit to guaranteed to miss the match, meaning Adriano Pellegrino, Troy Hearfield, Brad McDonald and Justin Pasfield could all make their home debuts for the Yellow and Navy.

We hope Mariners fans turn out in big numbers to give our new signings the welcome they deserve.
