CENTRAL Coast Mariners Academy Boys teams are all working together as a unit in an effort to secure the overall 2012 Football New South Wales Boys Super Youth League Club Championship this weekend.

This week is the last week of the regular competition season and sees the Academy teams doing battle with Sydney University to decide who will take out the 2012 Club Championship. The weekend-s games are between the two top clubs and will be played at Budgewoi on Saturday.

With the Grade 15 and 16 Academy Boys having already secured the Minor Premiership in their Grades and the Grade 14 Boys assured of second place on their ladder, the Grade 13 Boys and Grade 18 Boys will both be trying in earnest to secure the points.

The result of Saturday-s game will decide the winner of the Grade 13 Boys between Central Coast and Sydney University and third and fourth place being decided for the Academy in the Grade 18 Boys.

The Academy teams need to claim two wins in any of the five grades on Saturday to be awarded the 2012 Club Championship but all teams know that by winning the first of the matches of the day, the pressure is taken off the older Grades later in the afternoon.

All Saturday-s games will be played at Budgewoi Football Club with kick offs as follows:
9am – Grade 13 Boys
10.15am – Grade 14 Boys
11.40am – Grade 15 Boys
1.15pm – Grade 16 Boys
3pm – Grade 18 Boys

The Girls and Womens Academy teams are also at Budgewoi on Sunday to play Interlions in their round of the Football NSW Women-s Premier League competition. The games will be the last of the regular season for all girls teams with the Grade 16 Girls assured of going through to the final series and vying to be 2012 Grand Finalists.

The Girls games kick off at 9am with the Grade 12 Girls with the day concluding with the First Grade Senior Women who kick off at 3pm.
