7. John Hutchinson

31-year-old Maltese international, John Hutchinson, has been with the Central Coast Mariners since season one the Hyundai A-League and is a firm favourite of the Bluetongue Stadium crowd.

Born in Morwell, Victoria, Hutchinson enjoyed an impressive career in the National Soccer League, turning out for Gippsland Falcons, Eastern Pride and Northern Spirit.

Thanks to his Maltese heritage, Hutchinson is now a regular for the Maltese National Team. Making his debut against Czech Republic in May 2009, Hutchinson has since played several high profile matches for the Knights of St. John.

In July this year, Hutchinson joined Central Coast Mariners sister club, Chengdu Blades of the Chinese Super League on loan. Scoring two goals in his first six matches for the Blades, Hutchinson will return to wear the Yellow and Navy of his beloved Mariners at the end of October.
