23. Adam Kwasnik

Adam Kwasnik enjoys a special place in the hearts of fans of the Yellow and Navy.

A consistent, no-nonsense campaigner capable of the spectacular, Kwasnik is a reliable, hard working front man who has progressed markedly over the past few seasons.

Known to teammates simply as ‘Kwas-, the 28-year-old joined the Mariners in Hyundai A-League season one, however moved to Wellington Phoenix in season four.

Eager for a return to Australia, Mariners management were more than pleased to welcome the Australian Youth international back to the Club. Kwas has since repaid those who showed faith in him with goals aplenty.

Following the completion of the 2010/11 Hyundai A-League season, Kwasnik enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Mariners sister side, Chengdu Blades, in the Chinese Super League. He made his debut one to remember, scoring the equaliser in a 3-3 draw against Shandong Luneng.
