Future bright for Mariners Academy

CENTRAL Coast Football and Central Coast Mariners are pleased to announce that the Central Coast Mariners Academy (CCMA) has been chosen to participate in the NSW Premier League 1 competition for the 2013 season.

CENTRAL Coast Football and Central Coast Mariners are pleased to announce that the Central Coast Mariners Academy (CCMA) has been chosen to participate in the NSW Premier League 1 competition for the 2013 season. This includes all Men’s, Youth and Women’s teams.

MEN
The CCMA Men-s program (16-s through to First Grade) is headed by John McLafferty the 2012/2013 Central Coast Mariners National Youth League Head Coach. McLafferty will work closely with Paul Waters and Steve Finch, CCMA First Grade coaches to ensure the successful progression of the club into the NSW Premier League. Stuart Davis, the multiple championship winning coach from Berkeley Vale takes up the reigns of the U18-s, while Will Piriz, Grand Final winning coach of 2012, returns to the program to lead the U16-s.

WOMEN
The CCMA Women-s First Grade coach is Joey Peters, who boasts a 13 year international playing career with the Matildas who will be ably supported by the returning David Hurley. Bret Smith will lead the U16-s while John Blanco and Jennifer Tatum take charge of the U14-s and U12-s respectively.

YOUTH
Glenn Hall, also a Grand Final winning coach of 2012, will take charge of the U15-s while Mark Pratt and Brett Scrine return to the program to lead the U14-s and U13-s respectively. Mark Webb, introduced in the FNSW State Titles joins the program to lead the U12-s.

TRIALS
CCMA trial dates are on the website ccfootball.com.au but an Expression of Interest Form must be completed and forwarded to Central Coast Mariners Academy (by Friday 19 October 2012), for any player wishing to trial for Season 2013. Forms may be emailed to coordinator@ccfootball.com.au or faxed to 02 4365 2536.
