Central Coast Stadium will play host to a female exhibition match on Saturday March 25 between the Central Coast Mariners Academy and North Shore Mariners as a curtain raiser to the Mariners’ next Hyundai A-League home match to facilitate a live trial of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system.

The FFA will be conducting a live trial of the VAR system from 2:30pm where female teams from the Central Coast Mariners Academy and North Shore Mariners will play two 40 minute halves.

Gates open at 2:15pm which allows football fans to not only enjoy a high-quality game of female football but also gain a first-hand insight as to how the VAR system will operate.
