• The Mariners and Wanderers have met each other on three occasions this season and have each claimed a win, while the two teams drew 0-0 in the opening game of the campaign.
• Daniel McBreen will like his chances of making it two goals in two weeks; McBreen is the only player to score more than once in fixtures between the two clubs.
• John Hutchinson is the only current Mariner to score more than once at Allianz Stadium.
• Both sides are missing key players from their starting 11. The Mariners will be without the outstanding Nick Montgomery and the Wanderers will miss the dangerous Youssouf Hersi and Iacopo La Rocca. All players have been ruled out of the Grand Final through suspension.
• The resilient Mariners backline have been so impressive this year that goalkeeper Mathew Ryan is outside the top eight in total saves made this season. However, he will have to be on his toes this weekend as the Wanderers lead the league in total shots and total shots on target.
• Wanderers- goalkeeper Ante Covic could also be in for a tough night as the Central Coast have the highest percentage in the league of shots on target.
• Ante Covic leads the league in clean sheets on 13 and Ryan comes in second with 11.
