CENTRAL Coast Mariners Academy Grade 15 and 16 Boys Teams were both triumphant in their games on the weekend resulting in both teams claiming the minor premiership in their respective grades.

With a week of regular season competition remaining both teams cannot be beaten on the table and have been able to celebrate early after a consistently positive year.

The Grade 16 Boys suffered only one loss for the year securing 54 points from their 21 rounds already played. Another win in the last round this Saturday could see the team claim the title by more than 10 points depending upon other results in the round.

The Grade 15 Boys also had a great season with only two losses and now sit five points clear of Sydney University who they play in the final round.

The first round of the Final Series Commences on Saturday 25 August with both the Grade 15 and 16 Boys getting a weekend off after claiming the minor premiership. The teams will then play the winner of the Preliminary Final on Saturday 1 September (venue to be advised).

Congratulations to both teams- players, coaches and managers on the minor premiership and best wishes for the final series.
