CENTRAL Coast Mariners supporters will have another chance to celebrate the Club-s 2013 Hyundai A-League Championship success this Thursday evening.

From 6:30pm, the Mariners- players and coaching staff will converge on Centre Court at Westfield Tuggerah to receive specially crafted medals honouring their maiden Hyundai A-League Championship triumph from Mayor of Wyong Shire Council, Doug Eaton.

Following the presentation ceremony, Central Coast Mariners photographer John Dewberry will be on hand to photograph supporters with the Hyundai A-League Championship trophy. The trophy will remain at Westfield Tuggerah Centre Court until 9:00pm.

Mayor Eaton said the recent ticker tape parade in Gosford is testament to how popular the team has become, and that Wyong Shire Council is proud to be able to recognise the team-s achievements in its own way.

“The Mariners are the Central Coast-s only truly national sporting team,” Mayor Eaton said. “They have given our region something to really cheer about and it is only fitting that they receive these unique Wyong Shire Council medals for their outstanding achievement.”

“Every Mariners player will be there so this is a great opportunity to see them in person, get a photo with the Championship trophy and show them just how proud we are of their fantastic win.”

“We want as many young fans to come along as possible to help us acknowledge and honour this achievement by our home grown heroes.”

The MC for Thursday-s event will be the Club-s regular ground announcer, well known NBN Central Coast reporter and 2GO ‘Locker Room- host Steve Allan.
