Paul Okon has named a provisional squad heading into our Hyundai A-League Round 14 clash against Melbourne Victory.

The Mariners will be without Danny De Silva, Trent Buhagiar & Tom Glover who all arrived in China to represent the Australian Under 23’s. They could return from the 2018 AFC U23 Championship as early as January 19 or as late as January 29.

Harry Ascroft this week departed Australia to take an opportunity to trial in Malta.

Those who are available for selection are fit and ready to take on Melbourne Victory, including new recruit Jacob Melling who will have completed three full sessions with the Yellow & Navy before the team departs for Geelong on Friday.

Terrigal Junior, Lachie Wales has also been named as potential cover for Trent Buhagiar in a wide attacking role.
