TEAM NEWS: Mariners first home game

The Central Coast Mariners are pumped to play their first home match at Central Coast Stadium this season and Paul Okon has named his provisional squad.

After commencing the Hyundai A-league 2016/17 season away from home against Perth Glory and Sydney FC the Mariners will host Brisbane Roar on Saturday at Central Coast Stadium, kick-off is 5:35pm.

A firm fan favourite, Fabio Ferreira is showing promising signs at training this week and is confident that he can make a return to the pitch against the Roar on Saturday. If Ferreira gets the tick of approval from Mariners medical staff it will cause welcomed selection headaches for Okon who’s attacking weapons have all shown promise in the opening rounds.

Right-back, Storm Roux played out his first 90 minutes in eight months against Sydney FC at the weekend and has recovered well ahead of his long awaited return to Central Coast Stadium

Another exciting attacker who could make his return this week is Josh Bingham who features in Paolo’s provisional squad for the first time this season.
