Supporters to get shot at Celebrities and Bluetongue glory

The Central Coast Mariners, in conjunction with local radio partner 2GO, are giving three supporters the chance to represent a Supporters selection against a team of Celebrities in a curtain raiser fixture ahead of the Mariners’ clash with the Melbourne Victory at Bluetongue Stadium on Saturday.

Supporters need to tune into Dwayne and Sarah on the 2GO breakfast show between 5am and 9am throughout this week for details on how to enter.

Aside from a chance to run onto Bluetongue Stadium ahead of the Mariners- blockbuster showdown with the current Hyundai A-League frontrunners, winners will each receive four gold reserve tickets and a seat in a fully catered corporate box.

The three winners will join a team of fellow Mariners supporters that last season won their chance at this one-of-a-kind experience through a promotion co-ordinated by the Cumberland Newspaper Group, the Mariners- official community newspaper partners.

Included amongst the Celebrities squad that will represent the opposition is former Wallabies great Nick Farr-Jones, All Saints star John Waters and Savage Garden-s Daniel Jones.

The Celebrities versus Supporters match will kick off at 5.10pm this Saturday, 20 September, with gates at Bluetongue Stadium opening at 5pm.

The Mariners return to their Bluetongue Stadium home on Saturday, 20 September, when they host the table topping Melbourne Victory in Round 5. Kick off is at 7pm.
