CENTRAL Coast Mariners are back at Bluetongue Stadium for just the second time this Hyundai A-League season this Saturday 3 November.

This weekend the Mariners host Sydney FC, and with both teams coming off last start wins the game is shaping as the top clash of Hyundai A-League round 5. Kick-off is 7:30pm with gates opening at 6:30pm.

A boom crowd is expected at Gosford-s idyllic bayside arena, with pre-sale numbers indicating strong interest for the visit of 2006 FIFA World Cup winner Alessandro Del Piero to the Central Coast.

Graham Arnold-s Mariners enjoyed a dominant record over the Sky Blues last season, claiming two wins and a draw from three meetings.

And while Arnold will go head-to-head with his good friend and former Sanfrecce Hiroshima teammate Ian Crook in the tactical battle, there will also be plenty of other activities at the game.

Indeed, the Mariners will honour 2012 London Paralympics Gold Medallist and Central Coast local Liesl Tesch at the half time break.

After representing Australia at five Paralympics in wheelchair basketball, winning two silvers and a bronze, Tesch paired up with Daniel Fitzgibbon to take out the SKUD18 sailing event in London.

Tesch will be interviewed on the field at half time by Mariners ground announcer and prominent personality Steve Allan.

Before the game head out to the Dane Drive precinct and get involved with a range of matchday activities. Central Coast Mariners radio partner 2GO will be providing free face painting, while DJ Delicious will get your blood pumping pre-match.

Test your tricks in the Pele Sports Panna Cage and if you haven-t renewed your Membership, check out the Membership Marquee. A merchandise tent and membership pack pick-up points will also be located on Dane Drive.

If you enter Bluetongue Stadium from the west, be sure to check out our Membership and Merchandise Marquee-s, as well as the kids jumping castle and Newcastle Permanent inflatable football pitch.

When you take your seat, keep an eye out for the Masterfoods Blimp which will be flying overhead, and get ready to catch some special free shirts from the Primo Shirt Cannon.

All this plus 90 minutes of high class Hyundai A-League football on the pitch – it-s sure to be a super Saturday when the Central Coast Mariners host Sydney FC at Bluetongue Stadium!
