Star trio selected in PFA side

CENTRAL Coast Mariners stars Trent Sainsbury, Michael McGlinchey and Daniel McBreen have been announced in the 2012/13 Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) Team of the Season.

CENTRAL Coast Mariners stars Trent Sainsbury, Michael McGlinchey and Daniel McBreen have been selected in the 2012/13 Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) Team of the Season.

Voted for by their professional football peers, Sainsbury & McGlinchey were placed in the starting side while McBreen was awarded a place on the bench for his Hyundai A-League leading 19-goal campaign.

Western Sydney Wanderers & Melbourne Victory featured prominently in the PFA Team of the Season, each being awarded four spots in the side.

“Being selected into the PFA Team of the Season by your peers is one of the top accolades you can have as a player. The players can be proud of such an acknowledgment, particularly in a season where players have continued to play a massive part in raising the standard and interest levels in the A-League,” PFA President Simon Colosimo said.
