After sustaining a knee injury in our last Hyundai A-League encounter against Melbourne Victory, Tommy Oar has commenced his rehab to repair ligament damage. Also on the injury front, Corey Gameiro received a minor setback with a calf injury.

Returning for duty is skipper Matt Simon who missed the trip to AAMI Park with a calf injury of his own.

In great news for Mariners fans, Jonathan Aspropotamitis edges closer to his debut in Yellow & Navy after injuring his ACL with the Western Sydney Wanderers in February. Aspropotamitis has commenced full training with the squad.

After scoring his maiden Hyundai A-League goal, Mario Shabow retains his spot in the Mariners’ provisional squad.
