Ahead of the Central Coast Mariners’ Friday night football clash with Sydney FC, Mike Mulvey welcomes back two key players from injury to his provisional squad.

After completing his road to recovery from a ruptured ACL, Jonathan Aspropotamitis is in line to make his long-awaited Hyundai A-League debut for the Mariners. ‘Aspro’ has featured on three occasions for the club’s Foxtel Y-League team and is today named in Mulvey’s provisional squad for the first time.

In great news for Mariners’ fans, Tom Hiariej also returns to action after recovering from a calf injury. The Dutch midfielder’s last Hyundai A-League appearance for the Mariners was in round six, coincidentally against Sydney FC.
