SQUAD NEWS: Mariners vs. Adelaide

This Saturday is a must win battle against Adelaide United and Paul Okon has today named an extended squad ahead of Hyundai A-League round 24.

A resurgent Reds will travel to Central Coast Stadium this weekend full of confidence after their last-ditch win against Brisbane Roar and a 3-3 draw with Jeju United in the AFC Champions League.

A welcomed selection headache looms for Paul Okon in the goalkeeping ranks with Paul Izzo returning from suspension which saw Ivan Necevski step in to deliver a man of the match performance against Sydney FC.

In the Mariners’ last match against Sydney FC, Okon started Josh Bingham and brought Connor Pain on as a substitute. With all attackers from that match fighting fit after a good break, there are some more tough decisions to be made in the front third.
