It’s the final #F3Derby of the season and there’s plenty on the line. Paul Okon has named an extended squad ahead of our last home game of the season against Newcastle.
Skipper, Nick Montgomery returns from a one-week-suspension that saw him miss the Mariners’ clash against Brisbane Roar, adding some much needed experience to the Mariners outfit. A man who has featured in the #F3Derby 13 times, having only lost three.
After travelling to Brisbane to feature on the bench, Entrance Bateau Bay junior Steve Whyte remains up for selection for the #F3Derby alongside exciting Terrigal junior, Lachlan Wales.
Thankfully for Okon there was no one added to the injury list after the team’s trip to Suncorp but unfortunately Jacob Poscoliero remains sidelined with a quad complaint that has kept him absent recently.
With more than just local pride on the line this Sunday, the Yellow & Navy have a prime opportunity to send Newcastle plummeting to the bottom of the table ahead of their last match against Sydney FC.
