Pay tribute to retiring Mariners attacker Mile Sterjovski this Saturday when we play Western Sydney Wanderers in Gosford.

Hyundai A-League action will return to Gosford-s Central Coast Stadium this Saturday when the Mariners host Western Sydney Wanderers in one of the matches of the season. Kick-off is at 5:30pm.

With just two points separating the second placed Wanderers and fourth placed Central Coast on the ladder, the game will be crucial in determining which of the two 2013 Hyundai A-League Grand Final combatants finish the regular season highest.

The Mariners and Wanderers first met in round 1 this season, with the sides drawing 1-1 in Gosford. The yellow and navy-s Mitchell Duke opened the scoring for the home team before Tomi Juric levelled proceedings with mere minutes to play.

Just before Christmas Western Sydney got the better of Central Coast in Parramatta, claiming a 2-0 win in Hyundai A-League round 11. That day Juric and Dutch attacker Youssouf Hersi netted the goals to help Tony Popovic-s side secure all three points.

Current ticket sales suggest a strong crowd is set to descend upon Gosford-s idyllic bayside arena as the Mariners play their final regular season home match of the campaign.

As such, Mariners, Wanderers and sports fans are urged to purchase their tickets for the encounter as soon as possible to avoid potential disappointment, while Central Coast Football registered players are asked to contact their local club to take advantage of a special discount ticket offer for the fixture.

The Mariners will also use the day to honour former LOSC Lille, FC Basel and Socceroos attacker Mile Sterjovski.

Sterjovski will retire at the completion of the Club-s 2013/14 campaign, and while he may feature again in Gosford for the club in the AFC Champions League and/or 2014 Hyundai A-League Finals Series, the club will be taking steps to ensure the Australian 2006 FIFA World Cup representative receives ample recognition for his service to the Mariners and career in the game.

The club will be using the hashtag #ThanksMile on Twitter in the lead up to and during the match, and encourage all Australian football fans to join in the conversation as one of Australia-s great players is recognised for his contribution to the sport.

Gates for Saturday-s Mariners vs. Wanderers clash will open at 4:30pm, and don-t forget to pick up your FREE copy of ‘The Loose Cannon- as you enter the Stadium.
