The Central Coast Mariners Westfield W-League team can clinch the 2009 premiership this Saturday, when it takes on Sydney FC at Bluetongue Stadium.

The Mariners have lost just one match so far this season and currently sit two points clear of Sydney FC at the top of the Westfield W-League ladder, meaning a draw would be good enough to confirm Stephen Roche’s side as the premiers after ten rounds, and secure a home semi final.

The last time the two sides met, Michelle Heyman scored a double in a 3-1 victory to the Yellow and Navy in round one.

Gates open at Bluetongue Stadium at 2:30pm this Saturday, entry will be via the Western Ticket Gates, under the Brian McGowan bridge, with the Eastern Gates to remain closed.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 concession, and will be available at the gate.
