Central Coast Mariners will create a Hyundai A-League first this week when the Club live streams pre and post #F3Derby media opportunities with Head Coach Phil Moss and players.

In bid to enhance engagement with media, members and supporters throughout Hyundai A-League season ten, the Mariners will broadcast live interviews with Moss plus a selected player the day before each game this campaign, as well as the Club’s post-match press conferences whenever the team is playing on the Central Coast, or in Sydney, Western Sydney, or Newcastle.

The yellow and navy have teamed up with local company VPA Productions (VPA) for its latest live stream initiative – the same entity that produced the Club’s real time pre-season match feeds viewed by football fans in over 100 countries across the globe.

Indeed, the latest collaboration between the Mariners and VPA sees the latter become an Official Media Partner of the Club. VPA will not only benefit from service exposure via the streams, but also enjoy coverage at the Club’s Hyundai A-League home matches as part of the agreement.

VPA Productions provides sport performance analysis and broadcast services to sporting teams and athletes, however their services can be utilised for a range of other businesses and ideas. The young company has live streamed various conferences, and have the capacity to broadcast an assortment of events be they big or small.

VPA Productions founder, Luke McCoy, said his business is pleased to enter into the innovative arrangement with the Mariners.

“Once again we are extremely pleased to be involved in an innovative project with the Central Coast Mariners,” McCoy said. “We always enjoy working closely with our local Hyundai A-League team to broaden the exposure of the Mariners not only across the Central Coast, but to Hyundai A-League enthusiasts across the country and the world.”

“After completing another successful pre-season campaign with the Central Coast Mariners we feel this is the next step to helping one of the most successful clubs in the Hyundai A-League continue to innovate in the live online broadcast and fan engagement space. We feel we are in a unique position to provide a professional service for the Mariners that will not only increase engagement but enhance innovation in this growing field,” he said.

Tomorrow Central Coast Mariners Head Coach Phil Moss will be joined by battle-hardened British midfielder Nick Montgomery from 12:45pm (AEDT) following the team’s final training session before Hyundai A-League 2014/15 round 1 at Central Coast Stadium.

Over the next day media and fans will be canvassed by the Club for their questions for Moss and Montgomery, and it will be their queries that are put to the duo.

The broadcasts can be accessed on www.CCMariners.com.au, while links to the media will be distributed on the Club’s social channels.

Clean video and audio feeds will be forwarded to media following each event throughout the season, allowing for amplification of the stream content – or parts thereof – over a variety of additional mediums.
