Killarney District Soccer Club were a major beneficiary of the three goals the Mariners scored against Brisbane Roar at Central Coast Stadium on Saturday.
The local junior club were chosen as the Hyundai Goals for Grassroots representative for Hyundai A-League 2014/15 Round 12, and before a ball was even kicked were guaranteed $1,000.
But for every goal the Mariners scored, Killarney District SC received an extra $1,000 thanks to Hyundai Motor Company Australia, taking their total on the day to $4,000.
The money will be reinvested into grassroots football at Killarney District SC.
