Gosford Races offers a day of family fun with plenty of racing action and stacks of entertainment for the kids.
Next the Mariners take on Wellington Phoenix and the atmosphere at Bluetongue Stadium promises to be electric.
Then, the Gosford Waterfront comes to life with a live band, circus performers and plenty of food stalls before the skies over Brisbane Waters are filled with fireworks from 9pm set to a soundtrack simulcast live on Star104.5FM

The New Years Eve raceday on Thursday 31 December is supported by Gosford City Council and is part of a huge Gosford Waterfront New Years Eve Festival. Gates open at 11.00am and the first race of the eight race programme is scheduled for 1.15pm. You can enjoy a cool drink or a hot meal in the climate controlled bars, all offering superb panoramic views of Gosford-s magnificent racecourse.
On New Years Eve Raceday there are free children-s rides and activities, and the Gosford Race Club offers free entry for Gosford rate payers on production of the relevant complimentary ticketing as well as free entry for Central Coast Mariners football ticket holders.

Take in all the live action when the Central Coast Mariners take on Wellington Phoenix at Bluetongue Stadium. It-s set to be a blockbuster with a huge crowd expected to see in the New Year.

From 7:30pm Gosford Waterfront will be filled with entertainment including live band Rubber Bullet, Brophy Circus and a fireworks extravaganza at 9pm.
The firework display promises to be the most eye-catching ever witnessed over the Brisbane Waters with a live simulcast on Star104.5FM.
The display will be launched from a barge in Brisbane Waters with prime vantage points on Gosford Waterfront and Leagues Club Field.
