Central Coast Mariners will play the second match in its history at the iconic North Sydney Oval next Friday night when Phil Moss’s men take on Kevin Muscat’s Melbourne Victory.
The game – scheduled to kick off at 7:40pm – will see two of the most successful clubs in the Hyundai A-League era go head to head, but also provide football fans and families in the North Sydney area the opportunity to experience top flight Australian football at one of the nation’s most unique and picturesque venues.
Indeed, much more than 90 minutes of intense Hyundai A-League round 9 action will be on offer when the Mariners meet Melbourne just off Miller Street.
Before the game, supporters can fuel up for the fixture in one of the two food villages that will be located outside the ground. Gourmet food stalls will be situated at the southern entrance to the venue off Ridge Street, and in St. Leonards Park at the corner of Miller and Carlow Streets.
In addition to the food stalls, an abundance of entertainment will be available around the precinct. Kids can play in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup Inflatable Pitch, while the 2015 AFC Asian Cup itself will be at the ground. A DJ will get the blood pumping pre-game in St Leonards Park, plus Mariners Merchandise and Membership stalls will be situated outside the venue.
