The Mariners made the most of the delay by completing a light training session in the New Zealand capital this morning.
The squad will now enjoy Christmas Day with their families before reconvening on Boxing Day to continue their preparations for Thursday-s clash with Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium.
Central Coast Mariners drew 1-1 with Wellington Phoenix at Westpac Stadium on Saturday afternoon, with marksman Daniel McBreen netting his tenth goal of the campaign in the contest.
