Mariners Players Spread Christmas Cheer

The Central Coast Mariners had an afternoon off and Nick Montgomery, Roy O’Donovan, Scott Galloway & Connor Pain chose to spend it at Gosford Hospital – Children’s ward spreading Christmas cheer.

There were broken bones and bumps and bruises throughout the children’s ward but the boys were on hand to deliver a host of Mariners goodies to help put a smile on the kids’ faces.

It wasn’t just the kids who were happy to see the players at Gosford Hospital with plenty of nurses and doctors stopping them in their tracks for a quick photo.

On our rounds of the hospital we were also lucky enough to meet a young Mariners Member by the name of Ethan, who was looking forward to watching the Mariners in action against Brisbane Roar on Sunday afternoon.

Unfortunately Ethan fell off his scooter and broke a bone so he couldn’t make the game, so we took the players to him!

A huge thank you to the staff from Gosford Hospital for hosting us on Monday afternoon and a Merry Christmas to all. Stay safe this festive season.
