The Mariners have welcomed six new faces to their ranks today, as Daniel McBreen, Joshua Rose, Rostyn Griffiths, Sam Gallagher, Mustafa Amini and Marc Warren all trained with the club for the first time.

It was a hectic morning for the new faces, who also found themselves the focus of the local media before the session and the focus of Strength and Conditioning Coach Andrew Clark for rigorous testing following the hitout.

The group appeared relaxed among their new teammates, with plenty of early banter.

The Mariners will train as a group for the final time for the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 season tomorrow, before embarking on a well earned holiday.

The full squad will return to pre-season training in the first week of May, as they begin preparations for a tilt at their first Hyundai A-League under new head coach Graham Arnold.

Daniel McBreen can head off on a break confident of his goalscoring ability, celebrating some more clinical finishing on his first day in Yellow and Navy.
