The extended squad is in for Sunday’s clash with Western United at Central Coast Stadium in Match Week 7 of the A-League.
Alen Stajcic’s team are taking on their second short turnaround in a week, having already played on Sunday and Wednesday, with a loss to Wellington followed by the comeback win against Melbourne City.

The 18-man group from Wednesday night remains intact, with Oliver Bozanic and Joshua Nisbet returning to the squad as Stajcic looks to balance workload and rotate players.
Speaking on Saturday, Stajcic said the focus had been on rest and recovery to find a balance and prepare the squad between games.
“We had a heavy pre-season and worked hard, and I guess the dividends are paying off now with the short turnarounds,” he said.
“You can’t get a lot of training in between and really rest and recovery is the priority in these intervening days.”
“So it’s all been about that and preparing as best as we can for the next opponent, whether that be through video or other methods.”
