Mariners Matchday Squad | Game 6 v Melbourne City

Mariners Matchday Squad | Game 11 v Macarthur

Alen Stajcic has named his squad for Wednesday’s clash with Melbourne City as both teams navigate a short turnaround between matches.

The Mariners are up against their third two-day turnaround of the season after Sunday’s loss to Wellington, and will again be without Josh Nisbet as he recovers from an ankle injury.

Lewis Miller, Stefan Jankovic and Louis Khoury have all been added to the squad, while Jordan Smylie is a further omission with a knee injury picked up in his cameo during Sunday’s game.

The game will be Matt Simon’s 200th game in the A-League as a Mariners, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to see Simon presented with a commemorative piece to recognise the milestone achievement.
