CENTRAL Coast Mariners great Alex Wilkinson will be back at Bluetongue Stadium this Friday evening when Graham Arnold-s side challenge John Aloisi's Melbourne Heart outfit in Hyundai A-League round 11.

Wilkinson departed the Mariners in July to take up a deal with K-League giant Jeonbuk Hyundai, however with the 2012 domestic season in Korea Republic over, the long-serving former Central Coast skipper is taking the opportunity to catch-up with family and friends in Australia.

Wilkinson will watch the match against the red and white half of Melbourne from the stands, and at half time will be presented with a token of the Club-s appreciation for his years of service in the yellow and navy.

Indeed, it was in Central Coast-s round 8, 3-1 win over Melbourne Heart at Bluetongue Stadium last season that Alex Wilkinson made his 150th Hyundai A-League appearance for the Club.

In total, Wilkinson made 206 competitive appearances for the Central Coast Mariners, winning two Hyundai A-League premierships, appearing in three Hyundai A-League deciders, and leading the Club in its first two forays into Asia-s top club competition - the AFC Champions League.

Be at Bluetongue Stadium this Friday evening to help honour Mariners legend Alex Wilkinson, and support your team as they aim to consolidate their place atop the Hyundai A-League ladder with victory over Melbourne Heart!
