Mariners Academy: Action resumes after washed out weekend

After a weekend of washed out games last week, the Mariners NPL2 Men’s and Boys teams are back in action, beginning tonight with First Grade and U/20’s taking on SD Raiders.

Despite the washout last weekend, the Mariners remain second on the first grade table and can move six points clear of this weekend’s opponents with a win tonight.

The U/20’s are in a similarly strong position and can retain their unblemished record if they prevail over Raiders, with the makeup game against Blacktown still to come.

Those fixtures, for both grades, are penciled in for Wednesday, April 7th away at Blacktown.

The youth continue the action this week on Sunday, with all grades taking on Bonnyrigg away in Sydney.

There’s not long now until our Women’s teams kick off their season too, with their campaign beginning over the Easter long weekend.
