After stunning many with an 8-3 scorelines in their win over NWS Spirit last weekend, Nick Montgomery and his side will be looking to keep pace at the top of the ladder when they take on Northern Tigers on Saturday afternoon at home.

The thumping 8-3 win was a statement of intent from Monty’s side, but they will be without Harry McCarcthy after he was sent off in the convincing victory at Pluim Park.

The team will be boosted though by the return to the squad of Luca Maggetto and Louis Khoury, both of whom have been training with Alen Stajcic’s Hyundai A-League squad, with Khoury making his A-League debut against Melbourne Victory during Monday’s win.

Our Mariners Academy Women’s side have a perfect record through three rounds of the restart and will hope to keep that going when they welcome Marconi Stallions to Pluim Park on Sunday afternoon.

Wins against Nepean, Inter Lions and Gladesville Ravens have seen the Mariners rocket to the top of the standings with a stunning 13 goals for and none against, reflecting the work Dan Barrett says his team have put in so far this season.

Barrett will have a full strength squad to pick from this week when Marconi visit Pluim, and in an 11-game season a perfect record after four rounds will go a long way to helping them secure a spot in finals.
