Hyundai has announced that it is continuing its support of the “Goals for Grassroots” Hyundai A-League football program.
Hyundai has announced that it is continuing its support of the “Goals for Grassroots” Hyundai A-League football program. The program is designed to help develop football within local communities.
The program spans all 27 rounds of the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 season. Hyundai in association with the A-League clubs will donate a minimum of $1,000 guaranteed with every goal the “home” team scores in the match, an additional $1000 will be added to the donation (up to $5,000 total).
In the weeks preceding each Hyundai A-League home game, local grassroots clubs can complete an application form on-line at hyundai.com.au or ilovefootball.com.au and submit an applications for why their local club should be selected as the recipient of the “Goals for Grassroots” program. Local clubs can even support their application with photo or short videos.
The Central Coast Mariners designated Goals for Grassroots home matches will be in Round 7 against Gold Coast United on September 19, the Round 17 clash against Perth Glory on 27 November, and in Round 24, when we again play Gold Coast United on January 22.
To be eligible to enter, the local grassroots clubs must have an association affiliated to the Football Federation Australia.
