The Mariners have enjoyed a successful calendar year at Gosford-s idyllic bayside arena. In total, the team has played 17 competitive matches on the banks of the Brisbane Water, recording 11 wins, 3 draws and just 3 losses.
Fans will never forget the 5-1 thumping of China-s Tianjin Teda on matchday five of the 2012 AFC Champions League, or be able to erase memories of the team-s stunning 7-2 victory over Sydney FC on November 3.
And, who can forget the Mariners- first win of 2012 on Wednesday 4 January? On that historic night, K-League bound Mariner Matt Simon scored a brace to ensure he left the Club in perfect fashion!

Shortly after the completion of the match, fans can take in Gosford-s 9:00pm fireworks from the Leagues Club Field. The Leagues Club Field is an alcohol prohibited zone and a smoke free environment, making it the perfect place for families to watch the dazzling firework display.
