While our team lost 2-1 to the ‘Nix, the day had a strong community focus, with players, staff, and fans all donning pink in support of women’s cancer research, prevention, and support services.
The players’ kits will be uploaded to EBay soon, with all the money raised from the online auction being kept in the community – the cash will be spent to assist with the $60,000 upgrade of the Erina Community Health Centre, in order to turn it into a one-stop information location for those affected by women’s cancers.
