As a representative player aged between 12 – 18 years, you are eligible to be selected for the Future Mariners Development Program, Sydney 2012. This program forms the basis of our talent identification, and benchmarks players for future National Youth League (NYL) selection.
As a representative player aged between 12 – 18 years, you are eligible to be selected for the Future Mariners Development Program, Sydney 2012. This program forms the basis of our talent identification, and benchmarks players for future National Youth League (NYL) selection.
This program has been created to help you to understand your current level of development and to provide motivation and guidance to support your progress.
The coaching program has been designed by NYL Head Coach and Development Manager, Tony Walmsley. Mariners National Youth League Assistant Coach, John McLafferty will head up the Program, assisted by Hyundai A-League players and highly qualified professional coaches.

All sessions are on Sundays with times to be advised once groups have been finalised.
Program
The program is focused on the development of football action speed from decision to execution.
Players will receive
• Full Mariners Kit: Shirt, Shorts, Sock and Bag
• Season Pass: Access to every home game at Bluetongue Stadium
• Coaching: 16 professional coaching sessions
• Feedback: Individual feedback and direction
Additional Opportunities
• Training: Selected players invited to train with the National Youth League
• Touring: Eligibility for selection into an International Touring Team
