WITH just four days until the start of the Hyundai A-League, let-s take a look at why the number four is a significant digit for the two Mariners- wingbacks, Pedj Bojic and Joshua Rose.

Bojic has made 100 appearances since joining the Mariners in 2008 and Rose has played in 61 matches for the Club. Known for their ability to get forward, both of these Mariners favourites have found the back of the net four times whilst wearing the yellow and navy.

As defenders, their main role is to hold out the attacks of opposing teams, however Bojic and Rose love utilising their speed to not only score but also set up goals in the attacking third of the pitch.

Bojic is a dangerous attacking player due to his power and Rose relies on his fitness to run up and down the park all day long.

The combination of their skills on both sides of the park will be a key to the Mariners- success this season.

Another interesting fact about Joshua Rose is that he had the honour of scoring the New Zealand Knights- first ever goal in the Hyundai A-League in September 2005.

Can Pedj Bojic and Joshua Rose add to their four goals so far for the Mariners this term? Be amongst the crowd to find out!
