But it seems that when it comes to winning fouls, Oliver Bozanic and Michael McGlinchey get trod on and tripped in equal measure.

Indeed, both the Australian youth international Bozanic, and full New Zealand international McGlinchey were fouled 23 times throughout the 2011/12 Hyundai A-League campaign.

Bozanic is back in full training following a knee injury sustained at the latter end of the Mariners 2012 AFC Champions League campaign, while McGlinchey has had a hectic last few months, playing at the Olympic Games with the Olywhites and in FIFA World Cup Qualifying for the All Whites.

For the record, Bozanic and McGlinchey weren-t the most fouled players in yellow and navy last season.

In just 14 appearances, Matt Simon took the title, getting knocked down an impressive 44 times. John Hutchinson (37), Pedj Bojic (36), Bernie Ibini (29), and Mustafa Amini (25) were all ahead of Bozanic and McGlinchey.

Daniel McBreen (20) rounded out the top eight.
