Positions have become available within the Thunder Program for :
Under 11 Development Coach – This position requires a committed development coach to work one night per week in the Thunder Development training program and attend a monthly development series of games. The applicant will need to be a currently accredited coach and be prepared to work within a structured training environment.
Under 16 Girls Regional Youth League Coach – A vacancy exists in Thunders competitive Youth League Program for a girls coach working with Under 16 players. This is a very rewarding and challenging position providing players the opportunity to be coached in a competitive environment within the Northern NSW Football Regional Youth League. Preferred coaching competencies is a Youth Licence however a coach with a Junior Licence working towards a Youth Licence would be considered.
Lightning Under 18 Boys Coach – Lightning FC are looking for a Senior Licenced Coach (Or greater qualifications) to coach it’s Under 18 Boys Squad in the Football NSW Super League. This is a highly competitive age bracket and requires a coach of sound quality and experience.
Assistant Coaches – As a continuing program of generating new potential coaches, we are also looking for coaches of potential to assume the role as an Assistant Coach within each of our playing groups (Lightning Under 11 Boys – Senior Men, Under 12 Girls – Senior Women, Thunder Under 11 – 15 Boys, Under 11 – 16 Girls). As part of the development process Assistant coaches will be partnered with a Mentor coach to assist with their ongoing education and understanding of the Lightning Culture and expectations. Accredited Coaches of all levels will be considered for this invaluable role.
