A preliminary squad* of players from the Central Coast Battlewin Premier League have been selected to take on the Central Coast Mariners this Friday. Kick-off at Central Coast Stadium is 7:30pm.
The pre-season trial could be the world’s first chance to see Usain Bolt in Yellow & Navy with Mike Mulvey noting in the press conference that he is hopeful of Bolt’s inclusion.
Labelling it ‘The Trial’, FOX SPORTS will broadcast the match from 7.00pm EST, with Matt Shirvington, Mark Bosnich and Archie Thompson teaming up to preview the game ahead.
Due to the Central Coast Battlewin Premier League finals series commencing the next day (Saturday September 1), the squad rightfully features a strong contingent of players from Killarney District Soccer Club who finished first on the competition ladder, earning week one off from the finals series.
*Please note that two players from this squad will be withdrawn before Friday night and that the squad is subject to change.
