The Hyundai A-League 2019/20 draw has been revealed and our first home game of the season at Central Coast Stadium is against our fierce rivals, the Newcastle Jets.
Our season opener offers an exciting proposition to travel to Bankwest Stadium for the Western Sydney Wanderers’ first ever Hyundai A-League game in their new home. On Saturday 12 October (5:15pm) both teams will do battle where it all began for the Wanderers – a repeat of their first ever fixture against the Mariners in Parramatta.
Then, in round two, we follow it up with the #F3Derby. The Newcastle Jets will travel to Gosford on Saturday 19 October (7:30pm) for our first home game of the season.
One of the most popular fixtures on the Central Coast Mariners’ calendar is our New Year’s Eve blockbuster. We are excited to host last season’s Premiers in Perth Glory to round out 2019, and bring in the New Year with a packed Central Coast Stadium.
When it comes to local derby days, we’re set host our closest rivals on Sunday 2 February (4pm vs. Western Sydney Wanderers), Saturday 22 February (7:30pm vs. Sydney FC), Saturday 28 March (5:15pm vs. Newcastle Jets) and our last home game of the season on Sunday 19 April (6pm vs Western Sydney Wanderers).
The Mariners have just the one road trip to Newcastle this season for the #F3Derby and with entry to McDonald Jones Stadium included in your full season membership, Sunday (February 4pm) is a date you want to mark on your calendar.
Our away fixture against Sydney FC this season will be played at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium (Saturday 14 December).
The introduction of new club Western United FC means there are now 11 clubs in the competition, meaning there has been the need to facilitate a weekly bye into the draw. CLICK HERE to read how the format of the Hyundai A-League draw has changed.
