Central Coast Mariners boss Phil Moss has selected an initial 18-man squad for Saturday-s blockbuster Hyundai A-League 2013/14 round 9 encounter against Sydney FC. Kick-off is at 7:45pm.
Dependable defender Zac Anderson and nimble attacker Nick Fitzgerald have both been added to the squad that earned a point from the Club-s last match against Melbourne Victory last week.
The Mariners have a largely clean bill of health at the moment, with only Tom Slater unavailable for selection for Moss- men as he recovers from a back complaint.
Last weekend several Mariners first team players, including Anderson, Fitzgerald, Mile Sterjovski, Hayden Morton, Michael Neill, and Adam Kwasnik, participated in the Club-s Foxtel National Youth League fixture against Newcastle Jets Youth. Each gained valuable match time as the Moss seeks to have two fit players vying for every position in the Club-s first team.
