The Central Coast Mariners have made appearances at many of the Central Coast’s 67 primary and 28 high schools since their inception in late 2004.
The Mariners have been active in supporting a number of community programs, aimed at promoting active bodies and active minds at Central Coast schools.
Community programs promoted by the Mariners include:
Q4: Live outside the Box, which aims to promote practical ideas for including more daily physical activity and healthy eating habits into the lives of Central Coast youths.
The Arrive alive Road Safety high school program, which aims to involve young people in activities they enjoy while positively influencing attitudes and behaviours on the roads.
The Mingara Reads to Kids Club, a program that gives children the opportunity to get involved with reading in a fun and nurturing environment.
The Mariners have also preached the language of football to local primary and high school audiences – hosting coaching clinics and signing sessions with regularity throughout the school year.
