11. Damien Brown
Damien Brown

The Mariners’ historic first ever signing, local product Brown is one of the Central Coast’s iconic football personalities. Although Brown’s resume registers as many as six clubs over ten years in Australia’s first and second tier competitions, the likeable left sided utility has seldom strayed far from his Central Coast home. At the top level, Brown has often been a cornerstone member of his respective sides, having missed only a handful of matches in stints at the Newcastle Breakers, Canberra Cosmos, Parramatta Power and Newcastle United. Brown is one of only six players to have played in each of the Mariners’ four domestic final appearances, and, by the end of the 2006/07 Hyundai A-League season, had accumulated 47 caps in Central Coast colours – the sixth highest total of any Mariners player in history.
