15. Andrew Clark
Local product Clark is perhaps the Central Coast’s most celebrated football export of all time, if not for his contribution on the pitch, then for his work away from it, where he has doubled as the Mariners’ Strength & Conditioning Coach since the clubs inception. Not to understate Clark’s value as player, however, as this tireless and unrelenting defender has been as crucial to the Mariners’ success over three seasons as any other. Boasting significant experience in Asia following stints in Hong Kong and Malaysia, Clark also accumulated notable experience in the old National Soccer League and the NSW Premier League before linking with his hometown club in the Hyundai A-League. While at the Mariners, Clark’s reputation as one of Australia’s most fearless defenders has grown incrementally with each passing season, during which time the diminutive veteran has accrued over a half-century of caps in yellow and navy.
