1. Matthew Trott
Matthew Trott

Despite his tender years, Trott has been one of the mainstays of the Central Coast goalkeeping scene for the better part of the past five years. Born and raised on the Central Coast, Trott spent time as a junior at local club East Gosford, which sits closer to the Mariners’ Bluetongue Central Coast Stadium home than any other Central Coast club. Trott was first drafted into the Mariners set up to replace injured foundation custodian John Crawley midway through the 2005/06 Hyundai A-League season. Another campaign while replacing Crawley on a short-term basis saw Trott make two competitive appearances – firstly off the bench away to the Melbourne Victory in the Mariners’ final Pre-Season Cup Group A match and lastly from the opening whistle against Adelaide United in the final fixture of the regular season.
